Well we left Wednesday night instead of Tuesday to head down to Chad's parents house for my turkey season. Didn't seem like fun hunting Wednesday in a snow storm. Thursday brought warmer weather and some sun, so that melted the snow, thank goodness.I definitely got my exercise turkey hunting. Chad figures we walked at least 20 miles Thursday-Sunday up and down bluffs and through fields. Was it worth it, sure was! Was it successful, sure wasn't. Oh well, I still love it! Chad's dad had better luck though, here's a picture I captured of him walking through one of the barn areas of a farm we hunt.
The weather has gotten better and better here. Today we hit 70*F and sunny. The kids and I spent the day outside and it was fantastic. We racked leaves, cleaned up the yard and played in the yard. The kids absolutely love being outside. Kinsey will stand at the door yelling "Out Out Out" and pounding on the door. When you ask her if she wants to go outside she runs and gets her shoes. She has become such a little talker. And Cole is a little worker, he will refuse to come in because he claims he is "too busy working".
Tomorrow is suppose to be another gorgeous day. We have more yard work on the agenda to get done. What fun! lol
