Kenna is now a crawling fool, she's figured out she can get everywhere and she's determined to get there. Just today she figured out how to climb up a step, great fun. LOL And the little monster wants so badly to walk, so any chance she gets to pull herself up, she does, she has even figured out how to get to the 3 point stance and balance herself to stand in the middle of the room. Although it is not something that she is doing consistantly yet, she has done it on 3 separate occassions. She can't stand long once she gets there, but she is so proud of herself when she does. She was so mad at Kinsey for holding her hands helping her stand, she just scowled then screamed at her until she let go, then Kenna fell to her butt, but she didn't care, she didn't want help. And we thought Kinsey was headstrong!!!

Cole is thrilled to be back playing hockey and he is loving the rollerblades that the Easter Bunny (aka Grandpa Danny + Grandma Trina) got him for Easter. He and Kinsey are both terrors on their bikes and scooters, so we spend most of our days outside. The kids and I have been going on a daily ride, well I rollerblade pushing Kenna in the stroller and the kids ride their bikes. We end up doing about a mile and a half and they love it. Cole doesn't take lightly to skipping a day. The other day he says, "You know mom, it's really good that we are getting exercise because it's good for our heart and the heart is the biggest muscle in our body, well, it's the most important". Awwwwww

And then there's Miss Kinsey. Well, we all know she lives in a fairytale world, she marches to her own tune (one that she is normally singing out loud) and she really doesn't care what anyone thinks. Since it is prom season here Kinsey couldn't miss the opportunity to get all dressed up and go have her picture taken with Nick and Matt, she insisted on seeing them dressed up like Prince's. And the day would NOT be complete without Kinsey seeing Hannah. Kinsey started the day out in a pink dress, but before we left she asked what color Hannah would be wearing, so she then had to change into her blue dress to match Hannah. After seeing everyone, she overheard the talk about the dance and the rest of the day my persistent little princess asked constantly when she could go see Hannah at the dance. See here in Wisconsin they do what's called a "Grand March" and the parents/family/friends, sit in the bleachers and watch as the prom goers get introduced and then the king and queen are then crowned. Well before we could leave for that, she insisted her hair be re-curled and she changed into a different pink princess dress and we can't forget the Cinderella dress shoes. Anyway, she was wonderful there, her eyes were huge and her mouth smiling as all the girls in their beautiful/colorful dresses paraded around. She was truly in heaven and loved every second of it. I can't say enough about how amazing Hannah, Matt, LeAnna, Brenden, Nick and Brady are with her and all of our kids, they always go out of their way to make our kids feel important!!!
