Well, Chad and his dad hunted in heavy winds, heavy rain and miserable conditions the first 2 days. Monday brought better weather and better results. Chad got his bird in the morning and his dad got his bird that afternoon. They had a great time and had a very hard time coming back to the busy everyday life around here, but they came back to reality and that's how vacations go! hahaha
I played in a golf scramble on Wednesday and we won. It was a lot of fun. It was our 4Th year playing together as a team and last year we missed it by 1 stroke, not this year though. Every year we play in the Menomonie Chamber Golf Outing together and it is so much fun. Even though I hadn't played since the scramble last year, I hit the ball really well and that made it even more fun. I drove a 275 yard green, hit some crazy long drives and sank some putts. Fun Fun Fun. Just scary to think what it would be like if I played more than once a year. Ah, then I'd try to hard and it wouldn't go well.
We have been working really hard to get a really nice thick yard and with all this warm weather we are seeing that our hard work is paying off. Woohoo Growing up on a golf course sets the expectations pretty high. hahaha But we're getting there, at least on the roadside. Next we'll hit the lake side of the yard and cross our fingers it goes well there too.
Kinsey every day gets more and more sassy. She is her mother's daughter, no doubt about that. And Cole gets more and more authoritative. He's our disciplinarian that's for sure! And Kinsey, well Kinsey is just trouble with a capital "T". hahaha But her smile from ear to ear melts your heart.
Here's some recent images I snapped of Chad and the kids, some day I'll actually let him hold the camera and snap some pictures...
