Here fishy fishy fishy.

So we've got the dock in and the boat lift, but needed to order parts for the Mastercraft, so we're waiting to put that in and the pontoon is in need of a little TLC and then we'll get that in. But the fishing boat is in and we've been going out at night after Chad gets home from work. Chad and I limited out in about 45 minutes on big crappies last weekend and this week has been a little slow, but we caught enough to make it worth the time to clean 'em the Thursday night. So I think we'll fry those up tonight. They are nice big crappies. We heard the blue gills are biting on Lake Menomin (for those who don't know that's right in town Menomonie), so we may trailer over there and get in to some fish so Cole can catch some.

Water is still a little chilly, but we've been in it a little. Cole doesn't mind at all, but Kiney is definitely looking forward to it warming up. Cole keeps asking to ski, so I'm sure he'll be really anxious once we get the boat in. We've been running in the water pulling him on his ski to pacify him for the time being.

Nothing else really new around here. It's raining now, so we're stuck inside. Kids are just itching to be outside too. Hopefully it doesn't last too long, but I'm sure we'll be stuck inside the rest of the night. Yuck!!!
