Ahhhh...Love Mornings like today!!!

It must be that smell of coffee when I come upstairs (since Chad remembered to make it this morning) or the sun shining through the windows, I don't know what it is, but I am so glad that it gave me the motivation to get something done around here. Cole and I swept, mopped and vacuumed the main level of the house, all the dishes are done and now we are heading out to go vacuum out my car.

We all rolled out of bed on the right side today, rare occasion I know. LOL Breakfast, coloring, chores, lunch, ice cream cones, wii. We're on a roll. Woohoo!!!
Well, Kinsey didn't volunteer to help with chores, as you can see above (she colored instead). I started vacuuming, Cole instantly jumped up and offered to take over, so I went and got the mop out, as soon as he saw that, he offered to take over and mop instead. LOL Kinsey, yeah, she colored the entire time. That's Kinsey! So Cole was mopping the bathroom...
Cole: "I better scrub the floor because some times, I miss."
Me: "Yep, you better scrub the floor extra then."
Cole: "it's OK though right, sometimes, you miss too right."
Me: "nope, I don't ever miss"
Cole: "oh yeah, that's because you and Kinsey have smaller parts".
Me: I just smile, laugh and nodded
Cole: "well, I'm sure dad misses"
Me: "he better not"
Here's nosey Kenna, she is so nosey, Cole was mopping behind her, so she couldn't miss checking out what he was doing. Then she saw she was busted and gave a big smile and a giggle.
So, the story behind the jar full of markers. I saw on another blog that she had replaced her centerpiece with a cookie jar full of crayons. I loved this idea because Kinsey is such a free spirit and adores coloring/drawing and this gives her the freedom to do it whenever she wants to. Even Cole now walks by the table and decides to just write and draw.
In the below picture they are both drawing pictures for my Grandfather (Grand-dad), who tripped, hit his head and broke 2 vertebrae in his neck. He is now in the hospital, re-cooperating from surgery and hopefully being moved out of ICU today (He got so lucky...and my brilliant Grandmother, when my Grandfather was refusing to go to the Doctor because it wasn't too bad, stopped by a medical supply store and bought him a neck brace, she's so sharp!). The kids wanted to draw something for him to let him know that they are thinking about him.
The above picture of Kinsey was taken yesterday, Chad told her to go to her room and put away clothes. She was mad, so instead of putting away clothes, she crawled into bed and went to sleep. It was not even six o'clock. She slept until seven this morning. Talk about stubborn. hahaha

And I completely laugh at Kenna when she does her "sumo wrestler" pose like in the black/white image above. She crawls all over, but she is constantly like this. (I can't decide if she is a sumo wrestler or if she's about to pounce, hehehe)
