Catching up!!!

So we have been home now for what a week or something like that. I can't keep track of the days anymore. LOL We've just been sitting home twittling our thumbs. Yeah right!!! Seems each day goes faster than the one before.

Yep, I missed posting on Father's Day! So a very happy belated Father's Day to all the dads out there, especially mine, my father-in-law and of course Chad. hehehe Chad and I worked the Parade Home that he wired on Sunday, he got absolutely fried, he sorta resembled Rudolph. hehehe Then we played some bocce ball with the kids when we got home and spent some time just having fun!!! And yes, our kids still wear their xmas pj's. LOL The kids are spending ever second they can swimming. Cole skied on two ski's last week and this week finally plans on taking on the wakeboard. He keeps talking about it, then changes his mind when we go to do it, well, now he's determined to, so we'll see what happens. Kinsey loves tubing, but really isn't into the skiing. She has gone a couple times this summer, but would rather be tubing or just swimming. Kenna just loves floating around in the lake in her little floaty thingy. LOL

And Cole learned to dive yesterday, then spent hours...no joke...hours diving off the docks. LOL He was determined to get it and so proud of himself once he finally did.
Kenna is such a lil chub. The girl would sit for hours in her high chair and eat if you let her. She loves food and doesn't pass on anything. And when I thought Kinsey was independent, that's nothing compared to Kenna, this girl has to do it on her own, so food just gets dumped on her tray so she can feed herself. If you give her something, she'll take it back out of her mouth and then put it back in herself. LOL She's babbling more and more every day, saying "Mama" "NoNo" "BahBye" "Dada" "Papa" things like that. She has also figured out how to use those two bottom teeth, little chit bit me yesterday.

We are already getting things in order and schedules mastered so we can head back to Michigan on the 16th of July. Crossing my fingers Chad's schedule gets a little more flexible than it looks like it's going to be so he can stay longer than a couple days. We will be staying at my parents lake house, which will bring back so many memories and will be so much fun with the kids. But the big news is........ they SOLD the house, but the new owner said that he'll wait til my brother and I have left to move in. Unfortunately we will only get to spend a couple days with my brother, he doesn't often get leave from the Navy, but since he has a change of duties from where he is now to Navy Seals, he'll have a few days to come home and see everyone. His leave starts of course when we have to head home, but we'll get to see him and his family for a couple days at least. Which is LONG overdue!!!


I'm contemplating since we won't be in Michigan for the 4th of July if I should do a big get together here, just haven't decided yet. LOL Have to decide how motivated I am. hehehe I'll keep everyone posted :o)
