We are home, then back in Michigan, now home again!

Yes, you read that correctly! And just writing that makes me even more exhausted. LOL So.... we were in Michigan with the kids until Wednesday.

A quick quick quick recap...
June 7th marked 7 years since we walked down the aisle and said "I Do" WOW
June 10th Kenna turned 10 months
(funny how 7 and 7 then 10 and 10, hehehe)
Chad helped helped helped at the golf course, the flooding was so sad, the course was in pristine condition

Ummm, can't think, too tired.

Got home Wednesday night because Chad had to get stuff done for his "real" job and I had to get stuff done for my "real" job. Then found out Thursday that the contractors at my parents lake house were ready for Chad, so we quickly got our things in order here, Chad's mom was so amazing, she took Friday and Monday off from work to watch the kids then Thursday late afternoon... Chad and I jumped back in the FJ, dropped kids off at Danny and Trina's (Chad's parents) and headed back to Michigan to get stuff done at the lake house. Yes, we were home less than 24 hours and we were headed back the 575 or whatever miles.

Everything went GREAT with the kids at Danny and Trina's, although that didn't surprise me a bit. They are amazing with the kids and Trina spends so much time playing with them and keeping them involved in things. She even took Cole and Kinsey to pick strawberries, which they proceeded to pick around 70 pounds of berries. Cole even had hockey practice on Sunday, so Trina took all three kids to Eau Claire for practice. Thankfully my best friend Sarah's son, Jackson, is also in the same hockey camp as Cole, so they picked up his equip from our house then Sarah and Casey helped Cole get on/off the ice. (Thank God for great family and great friends!!!)

Chad got all the wiring done at the lake house, I got a wall painted, yes you read that right, A wall. LOL Then ripped a bunch of the wallpaper off the walls. Chad busted his ____ to get it all done in such a short period of time and I helped a little, very little, I did more running to get more material than anything. But it's done, well, that stage is, finishing work will be done when we are back in 4 weeks.

We did buy the I-pass this time around, what a great idea that was! Why I didn't do that years ago, it makes the trip go so much faster not having to stop at all those tolls.

Anyway, we are home. It was hard to leave, but nice to be home. We got to visit with more of my friends from growing up and see their families, which makes it even harder to go. It's such a great place to raise a family, was such an amazing place to grow up!!! But...it is nice to be home, it's so peaceful and I really miss my peeps here since I haven't been around.

Ok, I have got to go to bed. EXHAUSTED!!!

A huge thank-you to Danny and Trina for watching the kids on such notice and for 4 nights too. Also a huge thank-you to Sarah for always stepping up and helping me out when I am gone, seems I always have orders come in when I am out of town and thankfully Sarah is willing to come get the order and get it out in the mail or ready for pick-up!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you! Well, I better thank her husband Casey too, who may get roped into picking the order up for Sarah :o)

Ok, GOODNIGHT. Pictures coming tomorrow.
